# Panda Closet: privacy and support summary

## Closet data

Core wardrobe photos, birthday, outfit history and preferences are stored on the iPhone by default. Clothing-photo processing is on-device. Data can leave the device if the user shares an export or backs up through their own Apple services. No email or manual sign-up is required for core closet features.

## Online services

Local wardrobe storage does not mean the app has no network services. The published policy describes weather requests to OpenWeather, subscription verification through Apple and RevenueCat, diagnostics through Sentry, and anonymous product analytics through PostHog with an opt-out in settings.

The policy describes optional Panda AI chat in app version 1.1.2. If available and enabled, it sends the message, a text closet summary and styling context through Supabase/Vercel and OpenRouter/OpenAI to generate a reply. Clothing photos are not included. The policy describes daily usage counts and an anonymous service account; availability is determined by the installed app and service status.

Cloud photo cutout and model try-on are retired. The policy retains a separate legacy AI Studio section for historical processing, retention and deletion.

## Controls and support

The policy describes controls to turn off Panda AI chat and anonymous analytics. “Clear all data” requests deletion of applicable cloud records before clearing local data; if cloud deletion cannot be confirmed, credentials remain so it can be retried. Uninstalling alone cannot send a cloud deletion request.

## Website AI links

The homepage's external chat links contain a public question and public document URLs. Opening one sends that question to the selected provider; it does not include your wardrobe, photos or app account. Provider responses and document-fetching behavior may vary. The same question is available to copy manually.
