# Panda Closet: product overview

## Platform and purpose

Panda Closet is an iPhone app for iOS 16 or later. It helps people organize clothing photos, choose outfits from their own wardrobe with the weather in mind, log wears, and track cost-per-wear. No email or manual sign-up is required for the core closet.

## Main tasks

- Add clothing with a camera or existing photo, then browse by category and color.
- Process clothing photos on the device and arrange real pieces on flat-lay outfit boards.
- Get daily outfit ideas from owned items, with weather context.
- Log outfits on a calendar and review wear counts and cost-per-wear.
- Use an optional zodiac-inspired styling note and lucky color for entertainment only.

The app's wardrobe suggestions use owned pieces. Website zodiac guides show editorial inspiration; their images are not a visitor's wardrobe or a personalized try-on result.

## Feature boundaries

The current product does not offer model try-on or cloud clothing-photo processing. These AI Studio features and new AI Studio sales were retired on September 1, 2026.

The published privacy policy describes optional Panda AI text chat in app version 1.1.2. Availability depends on the installed app and service status. When used, chat sends the message and a text closet summary to generate a reply, never clothing photos. It is distinct from the retired AI Studio photo features.
